Who are we?
Jolande Amoraal and Jaki Ellis are the founders of ONE Volleyball. Check out their bios below!
After competing in professional leagues abroad, they were inspired to create a similar atmosphere in Canada where they could challenge themselves and continue to grow as athletes.

Overview: The Toronto Premier League is comprised of 4 men's and 4 women's teams made up of the best athletes in Toronto. Each team will play each other twice over the course of 2 months and compete for the season-ending Premier Cup.
Athletes are not required to pay a fee to play in the Premier League. Athletes that are part of the winning team will be awarded a contract bonus from the team's earnings.
To participate: Athletes wishing to compete in the Premier League must apply to be in the Premier Draft, where they have the opportunity to be selected to a team.
Compete against the best in Ontario in our Challenger Series - a set of tournaments with a cash prizes for each event plus other prizes and giveaways.
Jolande was a libero for Humber College for 5 years, winning 4 Provincial Gold medals and finishing top 4 in Canada. She has received numerous accolades including Female Athlete of the Year, Rookie of the Year, League and Championship All-Stars, Leadership Awards, and a CCAA National Championship All-Star Libero.
In 2015 she played in the AVL (Australian National League) for the Victoria Vultures in Melbourne, Australia, helping lead her team to a National Bronze medal. Jo was also the Libero of the year for the inaugural Premier League in 2017!
In 2011 she formed her company, JA Marketing Solutions, and works with national sport organizations on their branding, marketing and promotions.

International League: Australian Volleyball League - Victoria University Vultures
Jaki competed for the University of Alberta for 5 years, winning 1 Canada-West title, 2 CIS Silver Medals and making 4 appearances in the CIS Top 4. During her summers, she set for the Canadian National Team, competing internationally at FISU games, Pan Am Cup and the 2012 Olympic Qualifiers. Jaki went on to compete professionally in Finland, and finished her career setting for Barbar during the 2015-2016 season in Belgium.
She was recognized throughout her career with accolades including CIS 1st Team and Championship All-Star, 2-time U of A Female Athlete of the Year, and CIS Top 8 Academic All-Canadian. She was also the first female draft pick for the inaugural Premier League in 2017!
Jaki is currently a Corporate Sales Executive with Tennis Canada / Rogers Cup.
